Practical information

The conference starts on Monday, 16th at 2pm and ends on Wednesday, 18th at 3:30pm.

It takes place at the laboratoire Nicolas Oresme, at the University of Caen in the building S3 (= Sciences 3), room 044 (043 on wednesday).

Accomodation

Many participants will stay in the Hotel des Quatrans. If you mention the conference, they will charge you a reduced rate of 94.65€.

Other possibilities are: the Hotel de Caen, the Hotel Astrid, the Hotel du Château, or the Hotel Le Dauphin. 

Transportation

To go downtown from the train station: in front of the station, take the tram T1 Hérouville or T3 Chateau-Quatrans (yes, l'hotel des quatrans is close to Chateau-Quatrans). Buy a ticket on the platform, stamp it when you get on board.

To go to the campus, take T2 Campus 2 to the end of the line. Follow the students on the road perpendicular to the tracks until you reach the concave Sciences 3 building. The talks will be on the ground floor, in room 044 (043 on wednesday).

To go to the campus directly from the station, take T1 or T3 and transfer to T2 at the first stop, or exit the train station from the back and walk to the Gare Rives de l'Orne T2 stop.
